Just as one set of "Housewives" end their run another batch steps up to take their place ... On the Season 7 Premiere of "The Real Housewives Of Orange County" (Tues., 9 p.m. EST on Bravo), frenemies Gretchen Rossi and Tamra Barney finally sat down to talk out their issues.
Their ongoing feud simmered throughout Season 6 and into the post-Season "Reunion," but has the drama taken its toll on the pair? Could they now be ready to bury the hatchet and move on with their lives?
Tamra opened by telling Gretchen, "Neither one of us are angels in any part of this." For her part, Gretchen said, "I'm sick of being angry about it. ... I've spent so much time being angry about it."
As they pondered their feud, Tamra made an astounding announcement: "I was totally at fault. I apologize from deep in my heart."
Yes, you heard that right. For the first time in what feels like eons, one "Real Housewife" actually apologized to another one.
The women then sat down to share a meal and Tamra gave her former nemesis a gift. A pink bracelet -- is she branching out into jewelry design? -- with an attached key. They could use the key to either "lock up our past and put it behind us, or we can use it to open up our future as friends."
The chat ended with a toast: As Gretchen flailed for the right words to follow "Here's to ... " Tamra quipped, "no more bullsh*t!"
